Our certifications
At DuraHoods, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of safety and quality. Our products are certified in every state across Australia, adhering to rigorous testing and evaluation to ensure they withstand the challenges of the diverse Australian climate. Our sunhoods are fully engineer tested and certified under Section 40 of the Building Act, testifying to our commitment to complying with the most stringent construction standards. Furthermore, our products meet and exceed the expectations set by the AS/NZS 1170.0, 1170.1, 1170.2, and 1664 standards.
In terms of wind rating, our N6 rated sunhoods are designed to endure even the harshest weather conditions. Our products are fully wind rated for Wind Region C and to an Ultimate Design Wind Speed of approximately 298.8km/h—cyclonic conditions. With a Regional Wind Speed VR of 69m/s, a Terrain category of 2.5, and factor values for Mz(cat), Ms, Mt, Mc, and Md all at 1.0, our products are proven to stand strong against the elements. The Design Wind Speed Vdesθ of our sunhoods is 83m/s, demonstrating our unwavering dedication to resilience and quality.
